House Rules

We would like to inform you about the house rules to ensure your stay in our house is pleasant. For all other information, please contact the host. The accommodation is available from 2:00 PM on the day of arrival until 9:00 AM on the day of departure. The departure day is not counted in the total number of stay days. If you do not vacate the apartment by 9:00 AM, the service provider has the right to charge for an additional day. If you decide to cancel your accommodation before the planned date, you must pay for the entire reservation. Hand over your ID card or passport to the host immediately upon arrival for registration with the Tourist Office. You can pay the entire stay in cash immediately. Guests are solely responsible for their belongings and valuables in the apartment, and the owner is not responsible for any loss or damage to them. Guests are responsible for their behavior outside the apartment, and in case of an accident, they bear the consequences themselves. Guests are responsible for the cleanliness of the apartment. The owners are not obliged to clean and tidy the apartment or take out the trash during the entire stay of the guest. The host will change the bedding every 7 days. When going out, always lock the doors and windows, close the blinds, turn off all lights and electrical appliances (TV, air conditioner, stove, etc.), and turn off the water. The air conditioner should only be used with closed windows and doors while the guest is present in the apartment. In exceptional circumstances and in the absence of the guest, the owner has the right to enter the apartment to prevent possible damage or danger. The owner will inform the guest about entering the apartment at the next available contact. Destroying equipment and furniture, causing disturbances, and disturbing other guests is prohibited, and making noise between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM is not allowed. Only persons duly registered as guests may use the apartment's contents. However, the host may, upon the guest's request, approve occasional visits during a specified time. Bringing weapons, explosives, and highly flammable materials is not permitted. The use of equipment and appliances that are not part of the apartment is allowed only with the host's consent. Pets are allowed only with the owner's permission during the reservation. Guests are responsible for any damage caused by their pets and must clean up any waste left inside or outside the property. Smoking is prohibited in the bedrooms but allowed in the rest of the apartment. Guests are kindly asked not to throw cigarette butts inside the apartment, yard, or outside, but to use ashtrays and take all preventive measures against fire and for their personal safety. Guests have the right to use one part of the garden (yard) designated for them. In case of loss or damage to installations, furniture, appliances, or equipment in the apartment, the guest must notify the host no later than 24 hours after arrival. If the loss or damage occurred due to the guest's fault, the guest must compensate for the appropriate value. Guests are kindly advised to report any malfunction or damage to the inventory immediately upon arrival; otherwise, they will be charged for the resulting damage. It is prohibited to take out any equipment or items belonging to the host (towels, bedding, etc.). You can provide your comments, suggestions, and compliments to your host. According to Article 10, Paragraph 3 of the Consumer Protection Act (NN 41/14), complaints about the quality of our services can be submitted in writing by direct delivery to the address Matko Zmijarević, A.K.Miošića 3, 21335 Podaca. We undertake to respond to your complaint within 15 days of receipt at the address you provided. In case of non-compliance with the house rules, the host has the right to refuse further service. In this case, the guest has no right to a refund. By starting to use the accommodation, it is assumed that the guest is familiar with the house rules and agrees to the obligations and conditions.
